If you are looking for Katy Tx family portraits, I wanted to share a few of my favorite Katy Tx family portrait locations. I have been a Cypress portrait photographer and Katy portrait photographer for over 15 years and love the Katy, Texas and Cypress, Texas areas. Both cities are growing, but still have that small, hometown feel. If you are looking to do family pictures in Katy, Texas, or senior pictures in Cypress, Texas, any of these locations should serve you well!
The MKT Railroad Museum
The railroad museum is located on 5615 1st St, Katy, TX 77493 and is known for the big red caboose. There is also a train museum inside, but lots of areas outside for photos. The staff inside can also answer questions not about about the museum, but about other parts of Katy, Tx as well.
Katy Heritage Park and Museum
Katy Heritage Park and Museum is located on 6002 George Bush Dr, Katy, TX 77493 and very close to the train museum so you have another option close by. There are several old style homes with porch swings, park benches, a gazebo, and even a mural! All these choices will be great for your family pictures or even your high school senior photos. If you are having professional photos taken at Katy Heritage Park and Museum, please have your photographer check as there may be a permit needed and a fee.
Mary Jo Peckham Park
Peckham Park is one of my all time favorite spots in Katy, Tx to take pictures. It is located on 5597 Gardenia Ln, Katy, TX 77493. It is a HUGE place with walking trails, covered areas for family picnics, a man-made lake for fishing (catch and release), and playgrounds. There are many options for family pictures at Peckahm park and you can spend family time there as well after the photo shoot!
There are plenty of other Katy Tx family portrait locations for you to choose from for Katy Tx family portraits and if you want to book a photo shoot with me for family pictures or senior pictures in Katy, Texas or Cypress, Texas, you can check my pricing or send me a message and I can make suggestions for you!
