As a Houston wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of shooting in some lovely venues. This is a review of a Spring, Texas wedding venue, Spring Chateau. Spring Chateau is located in what I consider the Spring and Tomball, Texas area off FM 2920 (most say Spring, Texas) but very close to I-45 just a little North of Houston.
I have shot several weddings at the Spring Chateau and the wedding couple that used this wedding venue were not just from Spring, Texas, or Tomball, Texas. One was from Katy, Texas, one couple was from Humble, Texas and another couple was from Pearland, Texas, so don’t let the distance keep you from using such a beautiful wedding venue.
They have space for both the bride and groom to get ready and several spaces for any size wedding reception. They also have a chapel on site and a gazebo in case you want an indoor or an outdoor wedding ceremony.
A short description of the Spring Chateau
This is info from their web site about their ballrooms:
- Madison Square: Accommodating up to 250 guests, celebrate your special day in an elegant atmosphere complete with stunning light fixtures, stunning wood floors, and an abundance of natural light.
- Spring Chateau: Featuring vaulted ceilings and beautiful stone work, this space is perfect for larger parties looking for a spacious, romantic setting. You and your guests will be in awe of the dazzling chandeliers and gorgeous wood beams.
- The Enclave: This more intimate venue can accommodate up to 60 guests. The Enclave has classic white columns and beautiful wood floors. The decoration possibilities are endless in this space.
What’s available on site
The Spring Chateau has several ballrooms that can accommodate any wedding guest list from the small, intimate wedding venue of less than 100 wedding guests, to the large main ballroom, than can accommodate 200-300 or more.
You can also get dressed on site, again saving you precious travel time. In addition to the different sized reception halls, there are private rooms available for both the bride and groom to get dressed. There is enough space so that they do not see each other. A kitchen, bathrooms and guest rooms so if you wanted to stay overnight, you can do that in site as well.
The wedding chapel and outdoor area
There is also a wedding chapel on site at the Spring Chateau. Having a wedding chapel in the same location as the wedding reception venue can save your guests travel time. It also will keep them from getting lost when leaving one location and going to another. The wedding chapel at the Spring Chateau can seat up to 200.
The Spring Chateau also has a fountain, and an outdoor gazebo that can be used for photos. Photos of the bride and groom or of the wedding party are beautiful at this spot.
In the large ballroom, you have room both upstairs and downstairs for your wedding guests. I love the lighting in the large ballroom and have captured some lovely photos there!
Depending on the wedding package you choose, you also get fireworks as part of your exit! So plan the timing of your exit so more of your guests can enjoy them!
